Literature Text

He kept his singles crinkled
and anything higher crisp as sea's breeze.

Several nights were spent on motel bar stages,
aging his fingers on his aging acoustic's strings.

The gentleman was a misunderstood shark
with Adonis angles and eyes of pity.

Some glared with suspicion, while others listened
to the musical grandeur of this homeless genius.

All the waking days he wandered desert towns
and dreamed so free, it him poor and gave the richest soul in return.

However, the mystery man always left $20 bills
folded into origami flowers on the counters.

But only for the pretty young things that had second jobs
to support their fatherless children down the streets of tumbleweed.
I attempted to write about an attractive old gentleman that ventured through deserts and dreamt without limits. I guess you might even call him a glorified homeless man lol! A master at the guitar, he had pity for young women stuck in those shaby towns with their mistakes and stagnant lives. (Perhaps he left someone behind? Or maybe his own life behind in a place like that?)

Hope you enjoyed the story :) (Smile)

P.S. I couldn't come up with any other title Sweating a little... Comment and leave another potential title!
